The MCF regularly takes part in conferences and seminars to offer assistance to its stakeholders and to ensure we are fully up to date with the most current initiatives and developments within the industry.
In 2007 the MCF attended the Queensland LGA on the Gold Coast and the NSW LGA in Coffs Harbour. The MCF also spoke at the Municipal Association of Victoria's CEO Forum.
2008 proved to be a busy year too. In June we took part in the AMTA Technology Showcase which provided Federal Members of Parliament an opportunity to view and test some of the products and services on offer within the latest generation of mobile technology. We also participated in the NSW LGA Conference in Broken Hill and at the National General Assembly of Local Government in Melbourne.
We also attend industry conferences and seminars such as those run by the Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association (AMTA), the Australian Radiation Protection Society Conference (ARPS) and the Australian Centre for RF Bioeffects Research (ACRBR) Science Week.
The MCF is keen to explore sponshorship opportunities with Local Government Associations which will provide Industry and MCF members with the chance to engage more pro-actively with the Local Government sector. |
